Moore served on IHRSA's Board of Directors from 2002 until June 2006, and served as President of the Board for the 2005-2006 year. Moore became President & CEO of IHRSA on July 1, 2006. As IHRSA's President & CEO, Moore is focused on growth of the entire industry, and increasing IHRSA's penetration of domestic and international markets. Moore has been in the industry for over 30 years. He founded a management company that owned and operated 10 clubs and developed real estate. In August of 2004 Moore sold the company. Moore was a police officer and deputy sheriff before leaving law enforcement to pursue a full-time career in the fitness industry. |
